Preparation<\/strong><\/p>

In a bowl, pour the olive oil and sugar and whisk together.<\/p>

Next, add the eggs and salt, and mix well.<\/p>

Add the yogurt and orange zest, and continue mixing.<\/p>

Dissolve the baking soda carefully into the orange juice until it starts to fizz, then pour it into the mixture.<\/p>

Combine the flour with the baking powder and sift.<\/p>

Gradually add the flour mixture into the batter while continuously mixing until fully absorbed.<\/p>

Butter and flour a round baking pan, then pour in the mixture.<\/p>

Let it rest on the counter for 20 minutes before baking, so the air escapes and it rises evenly.<\/p>

Then bake in a preheated oven at 180\u00b0C (350\u00b0F) for about 50\u201355 minutes.<\/p>

Do not open the oven before 45 minutes have passed. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick \u2014 it should come out clean.<\/p>

Let the cake cool completely before removing from the pan. Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle generously with powdered sugar. <\/p>
